Starry Plough 1.10.2008

So Kapakahi finally made it out to the East Bay last nite and played at the Starry Plough in Berkeley. The traffic over the bridge was the usual and the lingering fog seemed to slow it even more.

Starry Plough was much bigger than expected. They served food from burgers, sandwiches, to salads, and a wide variety of tap beer. The place even had a stage with a curtain backdrop with christmas tree lights hanging from the ceiling. Overall, it was a nice cozy environment.

Thanks to the Angry Philosophers for sharing the stage with us. They played mostly instrumentals and truly are of great talent being just a trio. There fans too were wonderful bobbing their heads to the beat and a few of them dancing.

Thanks to the Starry Plough for having us and hope we can return there soon. We're glad that more people showed up and hung out with us on such a cold foggy winter night. Hopefully, if we play there during the summer we can get more people out there. Nevertheless, we'll be back there for sure.
